What are you doing for the bank holiday weekend?
To be honest, I completely forgot that it was bank holiday weekend. Given that it makes little difference to me whether its bank holiday or not, that's hardly surprising. Every day seems the same, just colours bleeding into one, they haven't got a name.
Weekends used to be a chance to dance freely within the rigid confines and deadlines of the week day routine. Since official teaching finished, I just don't know what to do with myself. Revision is one of the most monotonous activities ever and while there is still enough time to turn things around, the lack of motivation is a serious hindrance to achieving anything.

My brother's home for hte bank holiday, if I'd remembered there was one I could have been too.
ReplyDeleteI have no comprehension of 'half term' now, mainly because being at Uni I don't get them anymore, so it's a little surprising to go into town and be swamped with annoying, chavvy little school kids.
I find myself taking showers just to avoid revising or making a 6th cup of tea.
Least I'm clean :oD
Lol - yesterday evening I took a bath, despite already having a shower that morning, to avoid doing anything else. Also, tea breaks are far more frequent that is conducive to concentration.
ReplyDeleteI kind of wish I had gone home, my uncle's visiting, and judging by my revision efforts thus far, being at home wouldn't have made any difference in terms of productivity.
