Sweet Dreams

Today, I have nothing to look forward to.

Except sleep. Sleep is good.

O weary night, O long and tedious night,
Abate thy hours, shine comforts from the east,

That I may back to Home by daylight,
From these that my poor company detest;
And sleep, that sometimes shuts up sorrow's eye,
Steal me a while from mine own company.

You know it's getting bad when a science student starts quoting Shakespeare...

  1. "the innocent sleep,
    Sleep that knits up the ravell'd sleave of care,
    The death of each day's life, sore labour's bath,
    Balm of hurt minds, great nature's second course,
    Chief nourisher in life's feast— "

  2. I feel smug because I know that's from A Midsummer Night's Dream without even having to look that up.
    I should have taken a drama degree...damn.
