Revise Advisors

Today, I have hosted a party.

parh-tee noun: a band of people associated temporarily in some activity

I provided nibbles and drinks and comforty; they provided scribbles and thinks and company. I am the hostess with the mostest and they had the facts to the max. One of the plus points of having clever friends (as well as ones who rote-learn to saturation) is that it's like free tutition. One may argue that I'm spending X grand on my education, so surely I should be getting that quality of teaching included anyway? Well, yes, but lecturers don't take to kindly to being asked to explain the essence of an exam on the day before we are due to take it...

Also, it's fun to have a social occasion that doesn't involve alcohol, even if it does come installed with an innate fear of complete incompetance. I want to do well.
