As one is wont to do when one is feeling blue, I find myself reminiscing on days gone by. This particular trip took me back to two years ago today.
Most people get stressed about exams. Most people get sad about stuff ending and everybody hurts, sometimes. I am everybody. And while, yes, I am upset at the moment, it will pass. And in the midst of my temporary sadness, that fact is a shining light. I am happy. Life is good.

I am not a one in four, anymore.

:-) And :-(, and hugs. But mainly :-) for being a three out of four.

ReplyDeleteI knew what she meant! Give me a minute or few...
ReplyDeleteThis... Oh come on, it must be on t'net somewhere...
ReplyDelete(YAY for finishing exams!)
The article you linked to is quite interesting - because the article says it only reinforces the 'us and them' mentality of mental illness - the blue beans are isolated in amongst the red ones, but the way I see it, they're nestled in with the others, we're all together, and it's quite a caring set of beans, really. And it's everywhere. And well done for finding it and for knowing what I meant!!! When you didn't recognise it, Flix, I wondered if it was just something specific to my university's campaign on understanding mental health... xxx
ReplyDeleteR.E.M :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Lucy, I hadn't seen that before - I like it.
ReplyDelete@Ipso Facto: Yes, pub at half ten in the morning! No alcohol, though, thankfully. Also, REM FTW :D
Yay for finishing exams. Boo to anti-climaxal summer sadness.
